Blue Wave 12U defeated the Diamond Kings 9-1 in the championship of the Xtreme Diamond Sports RBI Classic to go undefeated (4-0) in capturing the weekend tournament title.
Blue Wave opened the tournament on Saturday April 21 by defeating Team MLB 19-1 and Bullets Baseball 14-0 to earn the Number 1 seeding after pool play heading into Sunday’s playoff round. They then defeated SoCal Swat 13-3 in the semifinal on Sunday morning to earn a shot at the championship. In all, the team scored 54 runs in four games, while giving up 5 runs.
Coach Aron Garcia’s team includes Rylan Littlejohn, Derek Higareda, Andres Vaca, Wyland Okamoto, Austen Barnett, Ben Reiland, Treson Arita, Bryan Ho, Nolan Tillitt, Jeremiah Robles, Gio Sambito, and Luke Wilson.
