Blue Wave Baseball is recruiting high school players for 15U through 18U teams for the 2023 Fall-Winter season.

Blue Wave provides local scrimmage games, fall league games, and local tournaments and collegiate showcase events to give players more live reps and exposure in getting to the next level.

BLUE WAVE 15U & 16U FALL LEAGUE TEAMS

Blue Wave offers games every Sunday for 15U (incoming freshmen) and 16U this Fall in the CCYB League starting SEP 10 through NOV 5.

CCYB Fall League games are played on local high school fields each Sunday, either two 7-inning games or a 9-inning game.

League games will conclude with a CCYB-NCS tournament for the playoffs with three games over two weekends. Nov. 11/12 and 18/19th. Two seeding games on the 11/12th, and championship rounds on the 18/19th.

The Blue Wave 15U League team is limited to incoming freshmen only (2027 grads) and Blue Wave 16U is for sophomores, young juniors, or advanced freshmen who can play at a high JV to Varsity level.

COST

Each player will pay a $49 Fall League fee that covers league entry fees and baseballs. Also ensures roster spot for all games scheduled.

Team players will pay a game fee of $25 per 7-inning game or $35 for a 9-inning game. Guest players will pay $35 for a 7-inning game, and $50 for a 9-inning game. Pitcher Only is free. You do not pay if you are unable to be at the game.

Team roster will be set at 12 players for the 7-inning game, 14-15 for the 9-inning game. Fall League team players have priority for all league games, Guest players will only be added if short on roster players.

BLUE WAVE UNDERCLASS – 16U & 17U

BLUE WAVE UNDERCLASS is for incoming advanced high school freshmen (2027), sophomores (2026 grad year), and juniors (2025 grad) depending on age restrictions for any event.

This team will play in top local tournaments and collegiate showcase events over Fall 2023 season.

Blue Wave Underclass team is coached by Chris Reiland, a longtime Orange County youth baseball coach who presently coaches at Aliso Niguel High School. His Underclass team will compete in the following tournaments and showcase events from September through December:

  • SEPT 29-OCT 1 FIVE TOOL SOCAL FALL SHOOTOUT – UNDERCLASS 17U
  • OCT 27-29 BASEBALL FACTORY BEST OF THE WEST – UNDERCLASS 16U
  • NOV 17-19 BASEBALL FACTORY THANKSGIVING CLASSIC – UNDERCLASS 16U
  • DEC 1-3 GREAT PARK CLASSIC – UNDERCLASS 16U

Besides the tournaments and showcase events listed, Blue Wave will also schedule Fall League and scrimmage games available all through September until the end of December.

 BLUE WAVE VARSITY 18U

BLUE WAVE VARSITY 18U is coached by Aron Garcia, one of the top youth coaches in Southern California with a winning tradition and has seen several hundred of his players go on to college and professional ball over the years.

His Blue Wave Varsity-Garcia team is open to all varsity starting high school players regardless of age or grad year and will compete in the top 18U division in the top local tournaments and showcase events this Fall 2023 season, including:

  • SEPT 15-17 – BASEBALL FACTORY BACK-TO-SCHOOL KICKOFF   -VARSITY 18U
  • OCT 6-8 – CCYB COLLEGE SHOWCASE HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY – VARSITY 18U (2024 & 2025 grads only)
  • NOV 24-26 – USA PREMIER THANKSGIVING CLASSIC – VARSITY 18U
  • DEC 8-10 – USA PREMIER CHRISTMAS CLASSIC – VARSITY 18U

Besides the tournaments and showcase events listed, Blue Wave also makes Fall League and scrimmage games available all through September until the end of December.
