Blue Wave 14U took home the D2 Championship in the Xtreme Diamond Sports Winter Challenge JAN 11-12.
After dropping their first game on Saturday (JAN 11) to the Los Al Combat 1-8, Blue Wave defeated the South Bay Warriors 14-2 to set up playoff brackets for Sunday (JAN 12) where they beat the OC Hawks 9-5 in the semifinal before defeating OC Kings 8-2 for the championship.
Coach Aron Garcia’s Blue Wave 14U include Rylan Littlejohn, Derek Higareda, Andres Vaca, Nicholas Lopez, Austen Barnett, Mason York, Luke Wilson, Gavin Reyes, Aidan Zapata, Scott Yang, Chase Sutton, and Noah Neufeld.
