Blue Wave Baseball congratulates our Coach Chris Reiland on winning the CIF state championship with Aliso Niguel last weekend where he serves as assistant varsity coach.
Aliso Niguel defeated San Marcos-Santa Barbara 11-1 for the state Division 3 title Saturday May 20.
Not to be outdone, former Blue Wave coaches also captured CIF southern section high school championships over the weekend when Head Coach Jason Smith and Canyon High School won the Division 4 title with a 3-0 win over Crean Lutheran and Brett Kay notched his second consecutive Division 1 championship when JSerra defeated Santa Margarita 1-0.
