Blue Wave Baseball will conduct tryouts for new Fall 11U & 12U teams at 5:30 PM TUE JULY 26 at Northwood High School, 4515 Portola Parkway, Irvine, on the high school varsity field.
Both teams are managed by top local youth coaches and trainers that are highly experienced in developing top travel teams locally.
Both teams practice twice weekly (Tuesday and Thursdays) at Northwood High School in Irvine in August in September, then move to field at OC Great Park starting first week of October and through December.
Players receive conditioning, skills development, infield drills, outfield drills, bullpens with catchers and pitchers, as well scrimmage gameplay for live reps and focus on situational on fielding days.
Teams also conduct 90-minute hitting sessions every week from 6 to 7:30 PM at Northwood High School, 2515 Portola Parkway, Irvine.
Will play local scrimmage games and one or two tournaments every month with the goal of 8 to 10 games each month. Blue Wave 11U will play in Cooperstown in the summer 2024. If we have enough players for our 12U team that want to go to Cooperstown in 2023, we will work on a berth. Both teams will also play in MLB Spring Training tournaments in Arizona.
