In his last game of the regular PAC 12 season, Oregon Junior Shortstop Kyle Kasser went 2-for-3 vs. UCLA yesterday (May 28) with a double to extend his hitting streak to 15 games which ties the program record set by Kyle Garlick (2014). The Blue Wave alum finished the season with the highest batting average in the modern era at Oregon hitting .352, besting Danny Pulfer (2011) who hit .351. He also recorded 75 hits this season putting him in a tie for fifth with Mitchell Tolman (2015) and Eddie Rodriguez (2010) on Oregon’s single-season hits list. Kasser played in all 55 regular season games for Oregon and lead the team with in At-Bats (213) Runs (34), Hits (75) Walks (25) Slugging Percentage (.408) and On-Base Percentage (.435).
