Following a strong performance at the Patriot League Championship Series, Bucknell senior Sam Clark has been named Fifth Quarter Fresh Bison Athlete of the Week. The Blue Wave alum was 5-for-8 with three home runs, four RBIs and three runs scored.
Clark, a First Team All-Patriot League selection, was 2-for-4 with one home run and one run scored in game one of the championship series. In game two, the senior was 3-for-4 with two homers, three RBIs and two runs scored.

Clark was impressive in the post-season, landing a spot on the Patriot League All-Tournament Team. Clark was 8-for-15 with three home runs, six RBIs and four runs scored. The senior also carried a .529 on-base percentage and 1.200 slugging percentage.
This season, Clark hit a team best .318 with nine home runs, 37 RBIs and 28 runs scored, while leading the Bison with 20 multi-hit and 10 multi-RBI outings.
Clark concluded his Bison career as a .276 hitter with 31 doubles, 12 home runs, and 59 runs scored. He ranks 11th all-time in games played (162) and games started (151), 20th in hits (151) and 15th in doubles (31).
