The following are our major tournaments and events scheduled for 15U, 16U, 17U/18U showcase tournaments for the Fall-Winter 2024 season. These events are open to all players to participate with Blue Wave in these highly competitive tournaments.
SEPT 7-8 FIVE TOOL SOCAL FALL OC KICKOFF – Blue Wave 2028 will play in the 15U/16U division of this showcase tournament with a 3-game guarantee. Full social media coverage provided with over 2,000 scouts and colleges following Five Tool channels online. Venues will be various fields throughout the Orange County area. Cost is $200 per player, Pitcher Only is free.
SEPT 21-22 FOUNTAIN VALLEY HS ROUND ROBIN – Blue Wave will play four games against different teams in the 15U/16U division so all incoming freshmen, sophomore, and juniors can play. Will play two games on Saturday and two on Sunday. Cost is $125 for all four games.
SEPT 27-29 USA PREMIER-PROSPECT WIRE SOCAL FALL CLASSIC Blue Wave Varsity-Garcia team will compete in this showcase tournament with three game guarantee and played on local fields. All games scored by Prospect Wire along with social media coverage. Position Fee is $200, Pitchers Only are free.
OCT 5-6 CCYB-ADIDAS FALL UNDERCLASS (2027-2028) for incoming freshmen (2028) and sophomores (2027 grads) will play three, seven-inning wood bat games at various fields throughout Orange County. Top two seeds will play a championship game. Top regional competition, more than 28 teams already signed up. Position player fee is $225, Pitcher Only is free.
OCT 11-13 CCYB-ADIDAS COLLEGE SHOWCASE at OC Great Park, Irvine for our Blue Wave 18U Varsity team. For this showcase event, each team will play two 10-inning games against top regional competition, more than 28 teams have already registered which will be a good draw for local college recruiters. Position player fee is $200, Pitchers Only are free.
OCT 18-20 USA PREMIER-PROSPECT WIRE FALL SHOWDOWN. Three game guarantee, championship game, player and team awards. Played on local Irvine fields. Position Player is $200, Pitcher Only are free. Blue Wave will field 16U (JV Level) team for this event.
NOV 1-3 PERFECT GAME SOCAL FALL CLASSIC @ OC Great Park, Irvine. Three games guaranteed, metal or wood bat. Blue Wave 2028 will play in the 15U Division and Blue Wave Varsity-Garcia will compete in the 17U division of the only PG event in SoCal this Fall-Winter season. All games are scored by PG scouts with DiamondKast. Perfect Game is one of the top recruiting organizations in the U.S. Cost is $225 per player, Pitcher Only can throw for free.
NOV 29-DEC 1 PERFECT GAME WEST THANKSGIVING INVITATIONAL @ OC Great Park, Irvine, delivers three games guaranteed that are scored by PC scouts on Diamondkast. PG is one of the largest recruiting services in the nation. Blue Wave 14U will play in this major local event. Player cost is $200.
DEC 6-8 CCYB 2024 GREAT PARK WINTER CLASSIC. Blue Wave will field freshmen (2028) and JV (16U) teams for this classic winter tournament at OC Great Park. This is a three-game minimum of 8-inning games. Position player fee is $200, Pitchers Only are free.
DEC 13-15 USA PREMIER-PROSPECT WIRE CHRISTMAS CLASSIC played on Irvine area fields with a three game guarantee against top competition and one of the last events of the year. Social media coverage, games scored by Prospect Wire, that will also name player and team awards. Position Fee is $200, Pitcher Only is free.
